Sony Introduces AIT-5 - Tape Backup on a Grand Scale
DTR now has available the new Sony AIT-5 tape backup drives.
These high performance - 24MB/sec, high capacity drives offer
uncompressed capacity of 400GB on a single tape. Available in both
internal and external SCSI formats, these drive offer all the features
that customers with large data storage requirements need. The
AIT-5 (400/1040GB) complements the Sony AIT line to provide reliable
backup solutions at a value-minded price. Sony AIT-5 Tape
Libraries - with capacities of more than 6TB - make an excellent choice
for automated backup solutions.
Iomega REV Increased Capacity
The removable disk backup products - Iomega REV - that have
revolutionized data storage for small and medium businesses are now
available with an increased native capacity of 70GB. These drives
- available in both SATA and ATAPI interfaces offer the same great speed
and reliability that the lower capacity (35/90GB) REV offers. Take
